Description
SENTIR mat Machine system complete set, configurable. Safety contact mats are tactile protective devices for securing hazardous work areas on machines and systems, such as presses, robots, or swivel devices. They are used for reliable area monitoring and to protect people in danger zones. When the mat is stepped on, a control command is immediately triggered, which stops the dangerous movement immediately. Fast and reliable signaling is provided by an internal surface switch that is waterproof and permanently encapsulated in polyurethane. This creates a robust, closed unit with high mechanical strength. An integrated textured surface also provides slip-resistant properties and increases work safety. For applications with particularly high mechanical requirements, the mats can be optionally equipped with resistant corrugated covers made of aluminum or stainless steel. Special evaluation devices continuously monitor the switching function, thus ensuring the long-term safe and standard-compliant operation of the safety contact mat.
